Another clue is to look at the RPO code sticker that is located on the inside of the center console glove box (if the cover is original). 			The 1992 Camaro model year marked the 25th Anniversary for the Camaro.

			Sales were slow for 1992 because many people wanted to see what the '93s would be like since it was rumored that an all new Camaro was to be offered.

			Mid-year, valve covers on TPI motors changed from silver to black.

			All 1992 Camaro's had 25th anniversary emblems on their instrument panels. An exterior appearance option called the Heritage Package (RPO Z03) included hood and deck stripes, a body-color grille, black headlamp pockets, and a special deck lid badge. Z03 was available with all models, but exterior colors were limited to Arctic White, Black, Bright Red or Purple Haze for Z28s. The same colors, plus Polo Green II, were available for RS models.

			Four (4) new colors, Purple Haze Metallic, Dark Green-Gray Metallic, Polo Green II Metallic, and Medium Quasar Blue Metallic were added for 1992. Otherwise, with the exception of the Heritage Package, 1992 exterior appearance remained virtually the same as 1991.

			Note: There WERE Camaro Z28 Convertibles produced with the L98 350 engine (installed by ASC at time of coupe - Convertible conversion) however this was not a GM feature or option. As a result, you will NEVER find a 1992 Camaro Z28 Convertible with a "3" as the 6th digit (Convertible) AND "8" (L98 350-cid) as the 8th digit in the VIN number.

			Z28 coupes could have a 350-cid and so the 6th digit would be "2". The customer could then have their coupe converted to a convertible which would mean it would have a 350-cid engine. However, only GM stamped the "3" on the VIN and so the 8th digit will NEVER be "8" and 6th digit a "3"
